Over the past couple of weeks, there have been a couple of instances where Sage SalesLogix Customers and/or Business Partners were unaware of system changes, maintenance, or known issues with the Knowledgebase. In an effort to streamline the notification process, all communication regarding the Sage SalesLogix Knowledgebase will be distributed through the SalesLogix Journal blog. Here you will receive notification about upcoming system maintenance durations, system changes, known issues, and usability assistance.
For starters, I want to personally apologize for not communicating the recent changes to the Knowledgebase's layout. The shift to the "Customer Portal" took many of you by surprise. While we currently only utilize the Knowledgebase component of the Customer Portal in the Spring of 2012 we'll continue to transition to fully utilizing the Customer Portal's capabilities. While the appearance is more appealing, the navigation may be challenging unless you know how to the steps of action.
To access the Sage SalesLogix knowledgebase, perform the following:
On the navigation bar, click Knowledgebase, then select Knowledgebase.
Click Continue to the Sage SalesLogix Knowledgebase.
In the Sage Customer Portal window, click Knowledgebase, and then select Find Solutions. Note: Do not log into the Sage Customer Portal
In the Select a Solution drop-down, select Customer Relationship Management.
Click the Sage SalesLogix icon.
In the Search field, enter a search phrase, and then click Search. Note: To view the Advanced Search, click Show Options.
Once again, I would like to emphasize that you have to access the Knowledgebase through either PartnersOnline or SupportOnline, and that you do not need to log in to the Customer Portal Interface. In the upcoming months you will receive communication about login information once we begin that transition.
If you have not subscribed to this blog (The Sage SalesLogix Journal), then it would benefit for you to do so, as this will be one of the primary methods to deliver communication. You can set up email alerts by clicking My Settings, then selecting the Subscriptions & Bookmarks tab.
