AJAX Error on Crystal Reports After 8.0 Upgrade

Hello,

Working on upgrading to 8.0 and ran into an issue with some reports.  We have several custom Crystal reports that we have deployed that worked well on our production system but following the upgrade of our test system to 8.0 when the report is selected from the pick-list it throws the following error:

We're sorry, you've encountered an error. If applicable, please try again. HTTP status: AjaxErrorResponse (576).

SalesLogix Error Id: SLXBAC82107B8C121D1

URL: http://slxtest2.pubpress.com:3333/slxclient/SLXGroupBuilder.aspx?method=GetColumnsForTable&tbl=NEWTI...

The reports work when tested in the Architect (and this isn't affecting all of our custom reports).  The box is a Windows Server 2008 and it is using SQL Server 2008 R2.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Adam

Re: AJAX Error on Crystal Reports After 8.0 Upgrade

Just to clarify, the reports will still work, but it is throwing that hard error first.

Re: AJAX Error on Crystal Reports After 8.0 Upgrade

Could you please post the complete event log entry?

This will help more to see the issue.

Thanks! Alexander

Re: AJAX Error on Crystal Reports After 8.0 Upgrade

Adam,

In your error is the line

"url": "http://slxtest2.pubpress.com:3333/slxclient/SLXGroupBuilder.aspx?method=GetColumnsForTable&tbl=NEWTI...",

I can't tell what that table name is.  But I would check to see if that is still a valid table.  It looks like it could be the problem?

Re: AJAX Error on Crystal Reports After 8.0 Upgrade

Hey Kelly,

The table still exists and contains all of the correct data as the report still works.  It just throws that hard error on a pop-up, but if the user hits [OK] then the report can be called.

Thanks,

Adam
